We have a customer that wants more cameras in their horse barn. There are currently 6 Panasonic BL-C1a's in the barn right now. All connect to a switch in the barn and feed back to a telco junction box on the outside. From there, the ethernet signal passes over underground telephone cable to another barn, then across another telephone cable to the house where the router is located. My question is, has anybody had any luck pushing 14 IP cams at 640x480 over telephone cable? BTW, it is a thick bundle of telephone wire they use for their PBX system.
