OK, you win I have Avigilon 24 camera license for 30 days . For two days of testing - very good opinion. You were right - it is working really fine. I will give some more impression later on. Hi, Don't get we wrong but... hmmm you sold it to them :/ If I remember you were " big fan" of Exacq, what went wrong then ?. I have just finished first installation with Sony cameras and 2 Arecont 8 MPX, its going well so far. I know it's not perfect with searching, but on the othar hand it's stable, reasonable PCU consumer, and priced well. Avigilon is " almost perfect" ( I have never worked with) , but price is ... For example, I'm looking for good LPR solution. I would go for Avigilon, but like I said , too expensive. Probably I will stay with Geovision or Seetec ( waiting for price). Don't know which way to choose :/ Regards

Hi I'm going to make an offer that has arround 20 HD cameras, and two gates with LPR system. With you experience, which system would you recommend? I have downloaded Milestone LPR system, but I gave up with set up. Maybe I just nedeed more time. Is there any other system that you can count on? Hi Everyone I am going to install AV8185 cameras with Milestone Prof. I had a problem with alignment, but it is solved with Hardwired's help - Thank you. I have another problem, when I view cameras with AV100 it is possible to get about 20-24 FPS, but with Milestone with the same camera settings - much less 6-8 FPS. What I'm doing wrong ? Serwer - HP Quad Core 3.0, 4 RAM Client - Laptop , I-3 , 4 RAM I hope to find the solution, Installation tomorrow Thanks in advance. Mariusz

Hello everyone. I'm going to install 2x AV8185 cameras and few SONY snc-ch120 at one of my customer's site. Cameras are on test by me at the moment. Problem is, I can't align areconts to be at one line, like one common picture. On AV 100 software, alignment is enable and it is nearly good ( not perfect), settings saved to flash. On Milestone it is not what I expect. Is there any solution for it? Milestone Prof. Thank you in advance. Regards Mariusz

Hello all I was thinking about Arecont cameras, we installed a lot of them. We are a bit confused, first - good frame rate, fairly good low light view... on the other hand I have never done "perfect" focusing with Arecont. I had always some problems with sharpness on edges. Maybe its lens problem or... I have no idea. Have you ever done such a good picture like from Arecont website? Please give some screenshots if possible. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Hi everyone I read forum a lot and I haven't found many AXIS cameras topics. I just wonder why?. Are they good? no problems with support?, very good picture quality?, good night time view? etc. I have been on practical training with AXIS and I think AXIS M and P hd series cameras are pretty good. To be honest I have never installed one. I do IQEyes ( Regards for FEN_FAN , Vivotek's and Acti. Sometimes SANYO and Areconts. I tried few brands to find best solution.
