Can't edit active users in DAHUA XVRs- Please help!

I have multiple Dahua DVRs and each one has multiple user accounts. Each time I want to edit a user account (remove access from a camera, change password, or simply remove the user) I can't, and I get the error that says: "user is in use now" as shown in the image attached below. To solve this, I have to manually go to the user's PC and close the SmartPSS software(or manually log out from the DVR) to be able to make the new changes that I want. How do I make changes to users that have the SmartPSS software already running, or at least be able to log them out without having to do it from their computers? I am trying to set up FTP backup on a Dahua NVR2116-I, but the FTP section seems to be missing. Does anyone know how to enable the FTP feature on this model? Or is it not available? Attached screenshot of what I'm searching for. The whole FTP option is missing. I tried contacting the reseller, but he can't figure it out. Much thanks! (First time on the forum, here. I didn't find a thread about this topic, but please feel free to re-direct me if the post is in the wrong place or if it's been addressed before.)

Hello experts, I'm experiencing a trouble on my Dahua Smartpss, I'm unable to view the NVR's, connection is excellent. Please help me what should I need to check for this trouble to fix. Or recommend remote view software like smartpss that support with dahua. Thanks.

Independent of cable brand, power supply, specific camera and encoding format... this fuzzy issue comes and goes, and sometimes but not always fixes itself if I power cycle the camera. The porch image is a Lorex 4K camera. The car picture a eBay special four mode camera 2MP. The DVR is Lorex / Dahua ( https://techcrunch.com/2021/10/25/lorex-ezviz-pulled-from-shelves/ ) What could be up?

Dahua 16 channel but 4 first channels in B/W

hi i have a 16 channel dahua- all work fine but the first 4 channels show me in B/W i change the camera to number 6 and works fine with color . but if this camera plug in the 1-4 channel the dvr show this camera in BW ---- any advise? -
I have a 2 year old pacom NVR installed at a clients premises with 12 existing evonets. i tried to add 2 dahua ip cameras to it but was unable to detect the cameras from the NVR interface. I have connected directly to the cameras from my laptop and all seems fine i have also made sure the onvif is on as well. RAS plus ip cannot detect it nor will the NVR itself.

I have a 21 camera setup (Dahua A511K02 Lite Series HDCVI 5MP), all cameras are crystal clear in daytime. At night, when LED flood lights come on, (4 out of 5) parking lot cameras have waving interference lines. Of the 4 cameras, some see the LED light and some don't.. same interference on all 4. How can i remove this interference? Budget JideTech PTZ Cams on a Dahua NVR?

Does anyone know if inexpensive ONVIF PTZ cams like this JideTech will operate on a Dahua ONVIF NVR like this Dahua 8CH NVR NVR2108HS-8P-4KS2? Would hope the SmartPSS software to work with the PTZ also. Some sellers of aren't so great at responding to inquiries, hopefully someone has experience with these. -

Hello, I have a problem with the Dahua DH-XVR5104HS-L2 recorder, I connect to it via p2p via the smart pss program, I have set points and tour there, and while I am logged in to smart pss and have live view enabled, everything works fine, but if I close the smart pss program, the camera continues to record, but it stops rotating. what should I do in such a situation? Thanks for the answers. -
Hi All, I have a Dahua 4 Camera HCVR security system that was installed around 2016. The original 1TB Seagate HD died, so I took it out and replaced it with a 1TB WD Blue drive which I formatted in my PC via an external enclosure, prior to putting it in the HCVR box. My issue is once I plug back everything to the HCVR box, and turn on the power, there is no signal from the box to the monitor. I've tried changing from the VGA input to HDMI input to different monitors but that has not worked. The power light on the mobo turns on and the fan spins, so I know there is power going to the unit. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can fix the unit or is it basically toast? If it's toast, would I be able to re-use the cameras with another DVR security system or would those need to be replaced as well? Thanks!

I have a Dahua NVR system with 6 IP Cameras. I've been able to install DMSS and gDMSS on an Android phone. Both software work fine but I was wondering what are the differences between both and which one should I stick with?

Hello everyone, just thought I would put up a quick post for all of you out there struggling with your Sentient DVR configuration and setup like I was before until now. Maplin seems to have completely abandoned support for the Sentient DVR and it's extremely difficult to find any information on the internet about it. Even the iOS app is no longer available in the app store. However, all hope is not lost. It turns out that Sentient DVRs are actually just rebranded DAHUA DVRs and there is a wealth of support available for Dahua DVRs on the net. Dahua systems even have there own Wiki https://dahuawiki.com/ where you will find all the answers to all your issues. To setup remote access to your Sentient/Dahua DVR using iOS like myself simply use the Dahua app (iDMSS Lite) https://apps.apple.com/us/app/idmss-lite/id517936193 You can then setup access by simply scanning the P2P QR code on your DVR network settings. I hope this helps those who have been struggling like myself! -

Hello everyone and excuse me for my bad English ... I am Italian. I purchased the Dahua NVR model: DHI-NVR4108-P-4KS2 I changed the admin password but I lost the file where I saved it ... I tried the procedure with the qr code but even if the email is correct I don't receive the unlock key on the mail ... How can I reset the NVR if I have forgotten my password? I am attaching some info that could be useful: Anyone can help me to generate the temporary Master Password?
