  1. I have an Ul-Tech NVR I purchased new from e-Bay. It is connected to 8 AHD live cameras around my house. For viewing the live camera feeds on an iPhone, there is an iOS app called OKview which comes up automatically in the Apple App Store when the QC Code in the Ul-Tech NVR manual is scanned by the iPhone. For the last couple of years, I used the OKview app to view the live camera feeds remotely (when my iPhone was connected via 4G to Interneet) as well as locally (when my iPhone was connected to the same LAN as the NVR). Recently, in the last month or so, I can no longer view the live camera feeds remotely. OKview app apparently goes though a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) server when connecting to the NVR remotely, but not when connecting to the NVR locally on the same LAN. I could find no manufacturer website for Ul-Tech for customer support even though the brand is sold in numerous places online such as e-Bay, Dick Smith, Amazon, etc. The retailers provide no support. Since no settings in my iPhone, Ul-Tech NVR, or Netgear Nighthawk LAN router have changed, my guess is that the P2P server used by the OKview app is now offline. The OKview app has a contact/support function built into it to send messages to the company responsible for OKview, and I have sent messages regarding the sudden inability for OKview to connect P2P to my Ul-Tech NVR, but I have received NO responses. I am aware that there are other, safer methods of viewing live camera feeds remotely instead of using P2P servers, specifically using a VPN to remotely access the NVR. So far, I have not gotten anything to work, partially because I don't really know which port(s) used by the NVR are necessary for remotely viewing the live camera feeds. In my Ul-Tech NVR settings, there are actually 3 different ports utilized by the NVR and I don't know which one(s) are used for the remote connection. These ports are listed as: HTTP Port 80, TCP Port 34567, and Mobile Port 34600. I assume that the OKview app was using one or more of these 3 ports when using a P2P server to make the connection? If I know for certain which port(s) were used, can I connect directly to that port remotely without the P2P server acting as an intermediary? If it's possible, then I realize that I will have to forward port(s) from the NVR's static LAN IP address through a VPN, but don't know the specifics about how to set this up. Or whether or not I can still use the OKview app or will need some other CCTV camera viewing app. If anyone can assist, I'd appreciate it.
