WebDvr / Diginet

Hi everyone,

Just joined your forum and want to say hello and thanks.

I was called on service call to someone else job.

I guess owner wasn't happy with previous contractor.

PC system, 4 cam. card model 4408, Diginet 4.11, WebDvr, ADSL modem, no manuals or any documentation.

System is working fine locally but they had problem logging in remotely.

After extensive reading through your forum I got courage to answer the call. Installed/set up router, set up DDNS account, and forwarded all ports.

Tried loging in from WAN. Opens WebDvr fine, after inputting site code and PW gives me image for a second and goes out with message login failed / network disconnected.

After two more hours of forum reading I tried factory def. site code and PW (100-001, 1234) and everything opened fine.

My question is how I can change those values? I was changing site code and PW in Diginet set up pages but that didn't affect WebDvr login info.

I would appreciate any input and I hope my experience helps someone

If You to edit sitecode go to setup then site imformation

If you want to edit password go to modem setup

 

Note: in sitecode use 7 characters or numbers

in Password use 4 numbers only.

You have to accept cookies on the client pc to be able to view the camera.

I also need some info on a Diginet Model 4408.... I never used on but a customer whats to add audio to the system. Any one have links to manuals?
