Has anyone added sound to Ge storesafe pro II

I am trying to add sound to a GE storesafe pro II imnot sure if I am using the wrong kind of mic or to long of run or if im not smart enough to connect two wires.

You can't just use a standard microphone - it has to be a powered CCTV microphone. Example: KT&C KPA-1
