Night/Day Camera Selection - Help

Recommended Posts

I am implementing an 8 camera setup using the GeoVision GV2008. I was looking at an 480 TVL High Resolution AccuDome WAD-A1000VIR Outdoor VandalProof Digital Dome Security Camera.

I was wondering if anyone has used this particular model or has any recommendations on any others . I am looking for good quality cameras. It's tough to choose because there are so many to choose from.

The camera will be located in the back patio which is 31' x 15'. It will mounted in the corner on the ceiling so it can capture both doors.

Any help, recommendations is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Thats been a good dependable camera for general applications however if you are depending on IR only illumination if the subject is less than 10-15' away they will glow white and look very scary, (which is typical for an IR camera), it has excellent color and detail in both daylight and most artificial lighting conditions. Wall mount or ceiling mount a very versatile camera. The focus and zoom are externally adjusted.
