Severin 0 Posted November 22, 2004 I am currently planning to secure my second home with several IP cameras (http://www.axis.com/products/cam_211/index.htm). For that matter I need to set up a dedicated server, with software. What software do I need ? How do I make the system boot properly after a power failure ? Do I need OS for this matter ? What software is recommended ?
eganson 0 Posted November 23, 2004 Have you already bought the cameras? If not, you may want to do a little comparison shopping... the IQEYE 603 series has about 10 times the resolution... don't know about motion detection http://www.iqeye.com/prd/IQe600.htm You can see some live at http://cam1.iqeye.com/ (try different cam-numbers too) ^ Some good software links on their site too: http://www.iqeye.com/res/softwpartner.htm
