ILDVR cards very expensive- So.. Geovision now?

I recently got a quote from Bernclare on the 8 and 16 channel DVR cards and they are a bit out my price range.

 

IL6008 (8channels) all channels has 30fps video+audio, 2CIF is $1195.

IL6008 (8channels) all channels has 30fps video+audio, 4CIF is $1780.

IL6016 (16channels) all channels has 30fps video+audio, 2CIF is $1380.

IL6016 (16channels) all channels has 30fps video+audio,4CIF is $2300.

 

So now I am back to looking at Geovision cards.

 

Where can I find a respectable vendor with Geovision cards with competitive prices?

 

Are there any other vendors for ILDVR cards + software besides Bernclare that I can get a quote from?

Look like I was wrong, the price quoted was for a complete DVR-

 

Just the card is $863 USD.

 

Not bad- It looks like I am going to get one.

 

I like the idea of hardware encoded h.264, but the GeoVision seems to be pretty much the bog standard with lots of support-

 

Does anyone have any experience with ILDVR? Are they decent cards?

 

(This is my first CCTV system, and I am trying to do it right the first time)

 

I just slapped together a Core 2 Duo, 2 Gigs of ram, 500gb HD- It is Intel based (Not VIA or SIS) P35 and I picked up an ATI card for video.

 

Hoping everything is compatible here....
