eganson 0 Posted November 28, 2004 I haven't used any of the Kalatel StoreSafe DVR yet, so maybe someone who has one can answer this... Spec sheet says the power supply is 12-volt, but is that a 12v bipolar or switching supply, or just a standard 12-volt, two-wire connector? (how many terminals on the plug?) I'm hoping for a standard 12v / 2 wire to make things simpler... remote location, barrery-powered system...
rory 0 Posted November 28, 2004 Whoops my bad, its actually 3 prong. i dont have one 'on hand', but I have one that came with the SVME and it is basically the same. specs & price http://www.cctvtime.com/shopexd.asp?id=1773
shropna 0 Posted November 30, 2004 Only 2 wires are used. But supply must have about 5 amps. And that DVRs are very sensitive to power supply current.
