ClosedCircuitCom 0 Posted April 11, 2008 any one use thier flex dvr's any opinions, pros, cons?
scorpion 0 Posted April 12, 2008 I have installed a small amount of their DVRs. Pros: Awesome Video!! ( I am used to a lot of AVTech equipment ). I love the video off of the internet!!!! Cons: RRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! When watching playback you can only see two cameras on the screen. You can toggle the camera buttons around to see various cameras, but you can only view two, at one time. I would rather have a multi screen. If at a minimum at least a quad screen (4 cams). The quality of the video is the tradeoff of the multi screen. _____________________________________________________ Notes: You can take the Flex, and ask for an upgrade. The upgrade is called the R30 upgrade. This will take you will take you up to realtime (30fps) Recording on Every Channel! http://www.icrealtime.com/solutions/dvrfxr30.asp What do you think? ClosedCircuitCom 0 Posted April 13, 2008 so is this a product you would put your name on?
scorpion 0 Posted April 14, 2008 I would put my name on AVTechs in the right budget class, or in the right environment. I would put my name on the ICRealtime, and their other products as well with no question asked!! You can contact ICRealtime, and they can set you up with a download, and then get you a user name, and password to view some of the cameras, and PTZ. I was really impressed the first time I viewed the videos.
