Yes! ATT blocks 80.

Do you have the static ip address, subnet mask, and gateway entered in to your DVR that was given to you by ATT?

The Netopia should have a 4 port if I am not mistaken. Put the DVR on port 1. You should not need to use an external router.

If you have other computers, then you can put them on the other ports for DHCP. (or you can plug your router on port 2, and go from there with your other computers.

You will need to set up portfoward 88 on the modem.

I do not see the screen shot that I wanted to show you. You need to go in to the advanced tab.

That should get you going.

Pinholes

Call ATT

Wait 5 hours while on hold

Live person finally answers, and wakes you up from your nap!

Ask them what call center they are in. There are two places. If you have to call back because a phone battery dies then you know where to call, and who to talk to. Ask for a direct number. They will not give it out, but at least you can ask.

Have them walk you through setting up your static IP on port one, and setting up your portfoward 88.
