antivirus6613 0 Posted April 26, 2008 I am looking to upgrade my specotech 8TN for something with better FPS and better quality. I don't like the 8TN because I have to use IE to view online and it won't let me save video to my 750gb external even though it recognizes it. The camera quality is 420 line resolution but on my dvr it looks bad ( maybe because 120pps). Looking for something that can do 16 channel, network view, USB hard drive saving, BNC and vga out, and better than 120pps. No dvd burner or cd burner necessary. I was taking a look at the specotech DVR-16TT but it is a little too expensive. Anything cheaper people would recommend that fits the bill? Also is their a big quality difference in 120pps and 240 or 420 fps?

CCTV_Suppliers 0 Posted April 28, 2008 How about CBC DR16N-750 DVR with less than $1,500.00? Here is the url for specs: http://www.computarganz.com/product_view.cfm?product_id=411 Comes with full three years warranty... If you are handy with computers, you can get the unit without hard drives and add your own.. It is an embedded system, so hard drives are used only to store video and hard drives do not contain any OS or applications... Hope this helps.
