scorpion 0 Posted May 7, 2008 (edited) Hello Everyone! I am in need of a manual for a Dedicated Micros DS2 16 channel. Would someone be kind enough to provide me a link or send it to me via Email? Thanks! I appreciate it! Edited May 15, 2008 by Guest
alanjh1965 0 Posted May 7, 2008 Here's a link to D.M's support page http://www.dedicatedmicrosus.com/?id=149 Hope this helps !
scorpion 0 Posted May 8, 2008 Hoped you helped? You have done more than just "helped". I am extremely grateful! I have to many items on my plate, and I am drowning in projects! In this economy I am greatful. I truely do not have the time to do the research like I would normally do on my own. I did a "gugle search" on Dedicated Micros DS2 Manual, and nothing really popped up! It seemed as if I found every dealer on the net!! I did find this, but then I had to get back in to the field! http://www.dedicatedmicros.com/extranet/support/dmsoftware.html Thank you very much!

scorpion 0 Posted May 8, 2008 I am feeling it real good now! All I get are the simple menus on the DM DS2. I need to get to the network page of the menu! I get the Alarm & Camera Status Time & Date Schedule From the front panel I see no way of logging in with Admin Rights to see the other menus to get to network section. I went in on the Network viewer. I can create a new user name with Admin rights therefore I am assuming (yes I know what they say) that I am logging in with admin rights, but when I select menu on the viewer I still get the simple menus. This will be fun for me to figure out! I think I just need a bigger hammer!!
scorpion 0 Posted May 9, 2008 Allright! How come someone did not tell me that I need to go in to http://192.168.0.200/webpages/index.shtml Then put in an ADMIN LEVEL Password. Apparently all of the passwords they have are not Admin Level, and I am locked out from the setup, and network menus. This will be fun!
alanjh1965 0 Posted May 12, 2008 Silly question but have you pressed and held the 'menu' button.... That should get you into the installer menu, if you just tap the menu key it will only show the user menu. This can throw you if you are not used to it! When you hold the Menu key The 'Time, Date & Language' page is displayed you can then tap the menu key to go to the next page. I am a bit of a DM groupie as I find it easy for the end user, espicially using the 'Event' key to scroll throught motion detection Good Luck AL
