Rebco 0 Posted May 12, 2008 first off, What do you have what is your system and card?
Smit9352 0 Posted May 12, 2008 I typically have good results when doing this so if you would like you can pm me or email me your remote login router information and I can assist you. You'll need to setup Remote Administration on you're router then pm me the password and info and I'll do my best! Thanks, John

alanjh1965 0 Posted May 20, 2008 Silly question, I take it you are using your external IP address ? 192.168.1.1 etc will not work on the outside world. if you 'goggle' MyIP it will give you your IP address AL
thewireguys 3 Posted May 20, 2008 you have listed 2 different IP addresses and 2 different ports. to access the system do you enter 192.168.1.02:9123 or 192.168.1.101:8080? to access from the wan you would enter your WAN:either 9129 or 8080
CollinR 0 Posted May 20, 2008 Yup you are tring to access the LAN Ip from the WAN side that won't work. On your linksys router look at the status page, there you will find your current WAN IP, you that IP:8080 and you'll connect. That IP probably changes so you might consider setting up DDNS. launderland 0 Posted May 20, 2008 this is my ip adress 64.30.208.
thewireguys 3 Posted May 21, 2008 this is my ip adress 64.30.208.75 What is the Lan IP address of the DVR/NVR? 192.168.1.101 or 192.168.1.02 I would set that up with a static IP address. When I type in http://64.30.208.75:9123 it should go to your DVR/DVR. But it doesn't it goes to your login of your Linksys WRT54G router. You do not have port forwarding setup right. READ THIS If that doesn't help PM me your user and password so I can set it up.
