rusnache 0 Posted May 16, 2008 Hallo. First, sorry for my bad english. Second, I have a GV900. I buy it from Bulgaria from sole dialer there. Now i know the DVR-Card is fake, but i pay 750$ for it, and I must use it. Evry thing is okey, but I have a horizontal line that move up and down on the some of the cameras screen. С have check all connectors and power supply but everything is okay and my check don't take effect on the screen quality. My questions are: If it possible the my computer PSU been small and the voltage and amperage for the PCI slots is not enough, and this take effect on the video quality? I have use a 350W PSU on 3.0 Pentium CPU, 1 DVD-R ( I use it once in month ), VGA-ATI X1600 256MB DDR2, 2 HHD - 1 500GB ( for DVR recording ) 1-80GB ( for system ). All of them are sATA. And one bluetooth adapter for the phone, and I use it once in month. Can it came from a coax. cables lenght. They are samething like 70-100m each. But I have one same system instaled in another place and there the cables lenght is 150++ of each. Please every answer with some ideas for my problem is welcome. kensplace 0 Posted May 16, 2008 As it clearly states in the stickies in the forum, the forum cannot provide any support for systems using clone/fake cards. Personally, I would recommend you take legal action against the dealer that is selling fake cards, to claim your money back if possible, and report them to geovision. You can buy genuine cards from many dealers on this forum, or ask geovision for a list of authorised dealers, then you can get support from geovision. You run a business, would you like it if someone ripped your business off? Clone cards are ripping of geovisions profits..... The actual problem may have nothing to do with the card itself, but support can only be provided for systems with genuine parts, if its cloned, we cant help - sorry. rusnache 0 Posted May 16, 2008 Okey, I understand this, but I asking for help if it posible. I think thas somebody posible have the same problem with the original card. I didn't sure that the card is clone/fake, I think this because the soft that come with the card didn't work with card, and in geovision official site I found a error that I have, and there wrote that this error come with fake/clone cards. But possible I have some mistake in instalation. I can't stop the surveillance, because this is a gas station, and surveillance is very very important. I have original GV250 but only 4 ports without audio, but it not enough, and my client is very angry from this. Nobody have any ideas?
CollinR 0 Posted May 16, 2008 The card it's legit your problem is with the software so remove Geovision and start tring some of the generic softwares.
UMDRanger 0 Posted May 16, 2008 Since it (the distortion line) is only on one camera, isn't it possible the problem isn't the card, but is the camera cable at fault? I'd try that camera cable on another input. Might be a bad connector on the cable or interference?
rusnache 0 Posted May 16, 2008 I have a little test. My power supply for the cameras is from one point by 65V DC. I have a transformers by any one of cameras. After them the voltage is 12V 1A. Big power supply is 65V 8A. In service manual of the cameras the continius power of camera is 480mA. I have connect 8 cameras and I think that the power supply is not enough for the cameras. In this moment in Sofia/Bulgaria is night, and f****ng lines are many more and are on more cameras. The cameras have IR illumination for night mode and now its work. I have connect the another one small camera also with IR illumination and it work correctly. But another cameras still have f****ng lines. I post a printscreen picture. With red circles are mark a cameras with lines. With green are mark cameras without problem. Camera N8 is the new camera that I have to connect in place of old camera that have same lines that another two. I have disconnect some of cameras but line still there. I don't know what to do. Change power supply, change cameras, change DVR or change work ? The client is very very very angry. I have change the software with original from geovision official site. I have connect the the new camera on the place of camera with line and everything is okay.

In the General setting/ camera/audio install, check the box wave out if you whant to listen audio live, and you have the box wor rec audio. If you do not have audio in the Video/audio log, you should check is it frame by frame or it is in real time. Audio works in real time.
