fdwyer 0 Posted May 20, 2008 Has enybody installed IC Realtime cameras? So far the 450 is my favorite camera. It's guarding my box truck. The camera works well next to a bright (light) wall pack with no artifacts, due to reflections off of the white truck an it still shows detail in the shadow areas. In the pro audio biz it takes three times before it's done right! Thanks, Frank stagecraftaudio.com
eric9547 0 Posted May 22, 2008 I'm suprised no one has answered your question since there are alot of people that favor the IC dvr's. I guess the camera's aren't that great from the lack of responses.
securitymonster 0 Posted May 22, 2008 We haven't used the EL-450, however we did see them at the show and the magni-axis was an interesting idea. The picture quality at the show was good but that was in a very well demo style environment. ICRealtime cameras have been good for us. We typically use the ICR540VD vandal dome when a customer cannot afford the Panasonic cameras. Do you have any sample shots from your EL-450? How did you like the magni-axis? fdwyer 0 Posted May 23, 2008 I ordered 4 more EL450's and 2 720's for the install, I like them. I'll get some pictures up after I get the 450 and 720 together in a side by side comparison. I could go on and on forever picking the right cameras, I settled on the 450's. They are better than the KT&C EXN800. Frank
ispy4u2 0 Posted December 30, 2008 IC Realtime just improved the quality of the EL450 by replacing the FOAM ring around the lens with a new spring activated IR blocker and the image qaulity doesn't suffer now from IR backfeed.
ispy4u2 0 Posted December 30, 2008 Do you have any sample shots from your EL-450? How did you like the magni-axis? Attached is a EL450 actual screen shot. Its image is with the new version of the EL450 and 100% pitch black in our warehouse. 98% of my residential installations are now with the EL450 as compared to old version about 40%. ispy4u2 0 Posted January 3, 2009 I got a couple of emails about the EL450 from IC Realtime, so decided to post another image showing it's performance. The NEW version of the EL450 was just released by IC Realtime mid December 2008. The difference between the old and new, is old used a foam IR barrier, sometimes causing IR bleed back into the camera, and now the NEW uses a spring fed IR blocker that prevent the IR bleed associated with most IR dome cameras.
