3RDIGLBL 0 Posted May 29, 2008 I'm looking at the Everfocus EQ550 camera to replace these illuminator series type cameras but I think this may be the same type of camera. I think part of the issue I have been having with these low light cameras is the fact they are not true DAY/NIGHT cameras. There is no mechanical switch. Looking at this Everfocus camera they have states as part of the spec "True Day/Night Function with ICR module.". What does this mean. I haven't been able to find a manual or understand this. These cameras will be in a dimly lit lot near a main road. I forsee a lot of headlight action at least from the one pointing towards the entrance. Maybe I am better off looking at a WDR camera? Budget constraints here so hopefully find something not much more than $200. These cameras would be mounted in an outdoor heated enclosure. Thanks
