bufferedaspirin 0 Posted May 31, 2008 Hello all. First post. I'm having some problems on my camera system. Here's what equipment I believe I have: 3 Honeywell Fusion III DVRs 20 Kalatel Cyberdome PTZ cameras GE KTD-405 controller Here's what I think happened: I was setting preset views for the all of my (employer's) cameras. I did this by using the programming menu to get to the camera's setup menu (enter 9-5-1-seq). So, i would go ahead and set a preset, and then move onto the next camera. Well, on three of the cameras, something different happened: when I set the preset,t he camera rebooted, and went through what seemed to be normal bootup self-tests (panned around, tilted up and down). However, when I went back into the programming menu, for all three cameras, it takes a very, very long time for the programming menu screen to finish doing whatever it is doing. Also, the inital screen is usually blue, however on the 3 malfunctioning cameras it is not blue -- just regular video. The camers function as normal EXCEPT that they will now not zoom in or out, and are locked at their widest angle (zoomed out all the way). The other cameras all function as normal, with no issues. I've tried zooming in and out with both the software on the DVR and the camera controller. No dice. Yes, shame on me for toying with my employer's cameras . I've already been completely honest with them about the situation. In the meantime, does anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix this issue? I've read the manual for the KTD405, but I'm not sure I have one available for the cyberdome cameras. So, I'm not too familiar with them other than what comes obvious in the menus. In other words, I'm a noob who doesn't even know how to reboot the cameras. Any help would be great. Thank you very much.
