kmarci501 0 Posted June 7, 2008 I have a 10 camera GE Store Safe DVR. The problem is I have 12 cameras. Is there any type of spliter where I can hook up 2 cameras to 1 feed so I can record all 12 cameras. at the same time
alanjh1965 0 Posted June 7, 2008 You would actually be putting 3 cameras throught one feed (10,11&12) A very cheap way would be to put the three cameras throught a switcher which switches the cameras every 5 -30 seconds, record wise you will drop so many frames it is just not worth it. The best solution is to buy a 4 channel DVR for the two cameras.

The best solution is to buy a 4 channel DVR for the two cameras. You could use a switcher or you could get a quad. A quad will display all 4 pictures in smaller boxes tho so you won't have large pictures of them like your other cameras currently do. Or like he said, get a separate 4channel dvr.
