cadyg 0 Posted June 18, 2008 Running an AVtech 4CH DVR. Working great for two years downloading snapshots of cctv footage etc. However, tried to download some cctv footage the other day to my pc's hard drive and it came up with 'Download File Path Invalid' I've not changed anything and I even tried to download to another file path. I still can see my cameras in the control panel so i know i still have a connection from my dvr to pc. Any ideas?
scorpion 0 Posted June 18, 2008 If you have not made any changes to the computer, then I am completely lost on this one. I would say go to my computer, and go to C drive, and follow the path to get the where the file is, and then see if this matches what is in your DVR. Is it possible that an security program has "rearranged" the files to prevent a malicious attack, and the DVR just cannot find the travel path? Perhaps you may need to reload the server disk to fix a missing file? Are you using server S, or server E?
cadyg 0 Posted June 19, 2008 Hi, Thanks for the reply. I am using server E I've re-installed server E software and also tried to re-assign my path to the root of C: but still doesn't like it.
