what's the different between Unicast and Multicast ?

i use panasonic wv-np244 and wv-np1000.i find Transmission type has two option(Unicast and Multicast ).what's the different between them?

multi is to many -like if you wanted everyone to view your web cam .

most routers will kill it tho
