rory 0 Posted December 28, 2004 Can some one with IE and XP please test this link and let me know if it works on their PC, thanks. Its an active X (safe) for Kalatel DVRs, the previous one was not working on XP for some reason, it did at one time. Thanks. I just want to see if it loads okay now. http://www.bahamassecurity.com/ivuepro.htm Rory

rory 0 Posted December 28, 2004 thanks thomas, wanna see if this page loads for you? http://www.bahamassecurity.com/ge/ ActiveX needs to be set to prompt also. It used to work with XP, this /ge/ is the one that use to, maybe I had to compile it on SP2 for the new files for it to work on SP2. I only uses: MSCVRT.DLL WSHOM.OCX VB RUNTIME FILES then 2 custom OCX and 1 custom DLL file. thanks all Rory PS. if you want an IP to test it out PM me .. McJannet 0 Posted January 4, 2005 IE 6 XP SP2 Windows Firewall - Off Norton Internet Security - Disabled 1.5 Gbps ADSL with hardware firewall On this (my employer's) network, I need to disable Norton Internet Security for most everything. Should be able to fine tune this given a few hours though. Your CAB would not download with Windows firewall on (even after accepting the prompt), it did after turning firewall off, also got what looked like a Visual Basic service pack. Then your application started, no problem. Regards: Dave
rory 0 Posted January 4, 2005 thanks Dave Yes, a minimal VB Service Pack is just something required for the activeX to run, it downloads from Microsoft so it gets the most updated one for your OS. Thanks again, Ill be adding new features to it in the new year (this year) after I complete some other web sites first. Rory
