bulldogtexas 0 Posted July 17, 2008 Just got the GV POS V3E box.. The only way I could get text to always come up on the Geovision PC is to have my POS ALWAYS print a receipt.. Is there any way to not have to always print a receipt to have the info overlay on Geovision? Connections: Receipt printer -> db25 -> db 9 -> V3E POS -> db9 -> v3e v3e -> ethernet -> geovision pc I have read about this graphical mode using a dongle??? would this do what I want? I have no clue... is there a tweak I can do or something?? I just know that I would like to capture the data from the actual pos and not the receipt printer... im wasting a lot of receipt paper and im not getting all my text i would like to have (if something rings up but never sent to receipt printer) Help! ezCCTV 0 Posted July 18, 2008 If you have a second printer output on your POS, connect the V3E to this port. You will need to cross over some wires on the RS232 connection. Usually pins 4 and 6, 7 and 8 (9 Pin DSUB) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
