XXX 0 Posted December 31, 2004 Rory babe? Anyway, what is the label on the yellow plug.
rory 0 Posted December 31, 2004 have you tried the different AV inputs? Like Video 1, video 2, etc, On the TV it should have that, also on the remote. Some TVs will say AV, some will say Video. If you have more than one Yellow (video) input on the TV, try another and go through them. Sometimes they have them on the back, side, and front. Another thing, is the camera wireless or hardwired? Sounds like you have a wireless receiver? You might want to plug the camera direct into the TV's video input first, if it is a hard wired camera. Otherwise you need to make sure both the camera and receiver are on the same channel, if it is wireless and has multiple channels like a 4 channel reciever. Also, if it is wireless, you can try powering down the camera first and powering back up, then powering down the reciever and powering back up, and see if it comes through then. Also ... if it is wireless, it could be something blocking the signal. If you know the model of the camera kit, and TV, give us the name or link to a website. Also distance from Receiver to camera. rory
baywatch 1 Posted December 31, 2004 Hi Fiona Sounds like you've got it in the right jack (yellow is video) but you are trying to tune it into a TV channel (iv been thru vhf1 vhf3 uhf trying to tune it in, receiver has a tunning knob on top im turning it whilst scanning trying to tune it into tv but i just cant do it,, do i need a monitor or diff tv?) You need to use the remote control to change your "video input" setting to allow the picture to taken from the phono input. This might be on the remote as AV, Imput Select, or maybe go to channel 1 & press the channel down button. When you have the AV input you will see a blue screen instead of a snowy one. If it is a modern TV you may have maybe 3 x AV inputs each time you press the remote you will see the AV number on the screen. When you get the correct one you will see the picture. Hope this helps.
