cybernettaxis 0 Posted July 31, 2008 PLEASE SOME ONE HELP ME WITH SETTING MY CAMERAS UP SO I CAN VIEW THEM REMOTELY OVER THE WEB FROM SOMEWHERE AS I HAVE POLICE WHO WOULD LIKE TO SEE WAHTS GOING ON WITH A NEIGBOUR WHO IS AN EX DRUG DEALER UP TO HIS OLD TRICKS AGAIN. I HAVE SET UP A ACCOUNT WITH DYNDS AND NOW I CAN VIEW MY CAMERAS ON MY OWN NETWORK O ANY OF MY PCS ON THE SAME NETWORK I JUST NEED TO BE ABLE TO DO THE PART WHERE THEY CAN BE ACCESSED OVER THE INTERNET ANYWHERE USING MY PASSWORD AND USERNAME. ALL I KNOW IS I HAVE AVEMEDIA DVR CARD AND AVERMEDIA NV3000 SOFTWARE IN THE SET UP IN THE NETWORK AREA OF THE SOFTWARE I HAVE MY COMPUTERS STATIC IP AND IT SAYS WEB PORT 80 REMOTE CONSOLE PORT 5500 AND THEN DYNAMIC DNS I HAVE BEEN TO MY ROUTER AND SET UP A SERVICE CALLED CCTV AND SET IT TO PORT 80 AND THEN ON THE FIREWALL RULES IN THE ROUTER ADDED THE SERVICE TO ALLOW ALWAYS AND IN THE SETTINGS PUT IN THE COMPUTERS FOR WHICH THE CAMERAS ARE RUNNING FROM THE IP NUMBER.
