sega33 0 Posted August 1, 2008 HI THERE!! I have a DVR the HDD is 80gb, from Westen Digital mod. WD800jb, the problem is after booting the DVR does not recognise the HDD. Iam not sure what Format needs to be used with this DVR. any help will be very much appreciated!!!! thanks WD caviar SE (WD800jb) -Samsung-SpinPoint-SV8004H-80-GB the one on top is the one that does not recognise, the second one is what the samsung catalog recomend....thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Is this the single channel model? thanks for your intrest!!!!! i don't know much about HDD but it was a little tiny plastic attached to the side of the 40 pins of the HHD so that the dvr can use the hdd as a master, hope you understand what iam saying. thanks for your time and help, and yes it's a single channel dvr Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
RickA 0 Posted August 6, 2008 With the Western digital you might want to put the jumper on CS for it to work properly and make sure that if you have both HDD installed they are jumpered correctly. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
