dmor 0 Posted August 5, 2008 I have purchased the GV-800 and would like to know if the real time remote surveillance viewing with this package is possible and if not, what else do I need. What is it that I do not get with this GV-800 that the other much more expensive cards have? Last. I have not read the pdf manuals on the disk yet, but is there a basic guide anywhere (a link ?) to setting up for remote live viewing. thanks in advance and best regards. dmor 0 Posted August 5, 2008 In another thread and in response to a question regarding combo card vs . gv 800. "If you want real time LIVE video then you will need the combo card." What does that quote mean? Is that in the remote live viewing case?

sinbad 0 Posted August 7, 2008 If you simply need to view real time from remote location the GV800 is all you need. The viewing speed has more to do with your network bandwidth, However, to set it up, you will need to RTFM.... and don't know to which more expensive cards you referring, GV is the best and AFAIK the most expensive card out there.
