robert 0 Posted August 14, 2008 Hello there, Question about megapixel lenses for CCTV cameras like Arecont Vision, IQinvision. There are some lenses which are meant to be used only with cameras up to 1.3 megapixel, but some can be used up to 5 megapixel. Tried to contact Tamron, Computar, Fujinon and Pentax - some dont even reply, some just keep forwarding me to other people etc. So, question from here, which lenses can be used for what resolution? CollinR 0 Posted August 14, 2008 It's a crapshoot, some marked megapixel has in my experience been no better then a quality standard lens. Unfortunately you'll need to just buy and try for now.
