KurtWL64 0 Posted August 14, 2008 A client has "lost" his administrative password and we need to reset the DVR (or any other method to get it back). I've seen the 760 method but after we opened the 787 we noticed that the boards are different. There is a 4 pin jumper but without the schematics (or instructions) I wouldn't want to "blindly" try that. Can anyone help

KurtWL64 0 Posted August 22, 2008 Thanks a Million for the help. I was beginning to get despondent thinking that no one could help and that we would have had to replace the DVR. Actually I received a response (and the same PDF) from "AVTECH FAE Dept" on Aug 18th. which (based on the forum) seems to be a rarity - but I cannot complain. Without it I would NEVER have found that RESET sequence. Now I feel confident in searching for the "remote viewer software" for the PC & Blackberry phone (unless someone can again point me in the right direction). Thanks again Scorpion for the help Regards Kurt
scorpion 0 Posted August 22, 2008 http://scorpiontheater.com/cpcamtechsupport.aspx or http://211.22.74.18/ Glad to hear that you can enjoy your DVR again! You will find the Video Server E on that page if you ever find yourself at a strange computer, and you need to remote view in.
