strokey 0 Posted August 21, 2008 Hi everyone, I am brand new to the forum. I have been doing some reading and I can see we all have problems (lOl). Well I have a problem, I bought a KVC4400 capture card for a PC i built for my house with 7 cameras. I am able to see them fine at home. I am using a diginet software to view at home. Now my problem is, I have set up everything I think correctly in my router (wrt300n) forward all the appropriate ports, but I cant get in when I type the IP address using another PC not on my network. Can anyone help me. I am using Comcast as my ISP,dynamic IP. If anyone can help and need more info I will be glad to provide. Thank you, Strokey
RickA 0 Posted August 23, 2008 Sounds like you have everything set up correctly on your Lan, need to check your router settings and firewalls, also your dynamic settings.

palancaman 0 Posted August 25, 2008 Not familiar with the WRT300N, but on the predecessor WRT54GS router...at the Security>Firewall>Block WAN Requests area, I set the Filter Internet NAT Redirection to "Disabled" and it allowed me access from outside. FYI, The other options on the Linksys Firewall area can be set as follows, as I know they worked for me: Firewall "Enabled" Filter Proxy "checked" Block Anonymous Internet Requests "Enabled" Filter Multicast "Enabled" Filter IDENT(Port 113) "Enabled" And I have the port forwarding should be set to an address outside of the DCHP range. I am using a Clover DVR.
