bradford 0 Posted August 24, 2008 Does anyone know if version 8.01 supports IP cameras? Or will I need to upgrade to version 8.2? If so, what do I need to do to get the upgrade to 8.2? And which IP cameras are compatible with Geovision? The system that I inherited uses a GV1480 card that is attached to some really crappy analog cameras with the worst resolution you can imagine. I would like to replace all the cameras with megapixel IP cams. I wish I knew more about this, but I just inherited the system from someone else who left the condo I'm staying in. If Geovision doesn't support reasonably priced megapixel IP cams, can someone recommend something that will? I'm inclined to rip everything out and start over as most of the existing cameras are starting to fail anyway. Thanks. Any help on this matter would be most appreciated.
