We need more as these manufacturers have a range of equipment.

Yup,

 

For information in Pakistan the major market share of SAMSUNG then PELCO and then in parallel these brands Panasonic,Honeywell,Sanyo AXIS etc.

 

SAMSUNG being the cheaper version is prefered in Banks branhces etc.

but PELCO is installed on strategic important locations like airports, Gas FIeld with Wireless from VERINT.

 

we are presently the System integrator for PELCO and VERINT , CAMTRON in Pakistan.

 

The reseller in Pakistan for SAMSUNG have created some commercial competetion but the technical expertise for CCTV is not that much as the same few particular models are proposed to each customer regardless to the requirement etc.

 

That is what we are depending on , the system integration and the Technical Support Services.

 

One major difference is the Prices of PELCO in Pakistan for customer . These days looking at the USD exchange rate & the Tax structure the end user prices are getting very high . Some suggestion in that direction is also anticipated for example some parallel market where the brands are available hence saving some OverHeads in importing.

I would stay with Pelco for sure. They are a very good company, and have great technical support. They just got bought out a few months ago, so we will see if anything will change.

Ii am faced with the high price phenomena from PELCO. Above all the Local USD Rates and other taxes are coming on customer and effecting the bussiness .
