cctv_down_under 0 Posted September 5, 2008 I just got back from the OZ security show......I looked at every IP camera on display.....one thing stood out! They all are crapolla with handling any bright lights, even lights at the stand that were hardly bright, all cams massively overshoot, if you pointed any of the megapixel cams, including Axis, Panasonic and others at a slight bit of bright light they bloomed out of control. MattFisher 0 Posted September 5, 2008 Did you drop into our stand?, Avigilon. If so did we meet? If not, I'm in Brisvegas also, if you want to have a better look.

MattFisher 0 Posted September 5, 2008 Hi, cctv_down_under, Nice to chat with you the other day, just a thought on the performace of the megapixel cameras you saw at the show, do you know if any of the cams were set up with Auto Iris lenses?. Some megapixel cameras only have manual iris lenses.
cctv_down_under 0 Posted September 6, 2008 Tested both, the issues seem to be the ccd...most are cmos which always has this problem, but even real ccds had this issue
