rory 0 Posted January 16, 2005 Just saw you are in finland. May be easier to get Phillips or Sanyo on your side of the globe. None of the phillips say what their Spectral Response is. Ive used this Sanyo Day Night with 850nm but they dont say what the Spectral response is. http://www.sanyo.com/industrial/security/cameras/special/index.cfm?productID=147 This B/W Sanyo does say it is 1050nm. http://www.sanyo.com/industrial/security/cameras/special/index.cfm?productID=
jonk 0 Posted January 17, 2005 Thanks a lot for answers. This kind of camera seems to be hard to find, at least if one isn't ready to spend a lot of money. jK
rory 0 Posted January 17, 2005 yeah I guess, its not cheap. Though, If you want B/W only it is cheap - $183 US, which is cheap in my book for good CCTV cameras. Remember these are US prices, price in your country could be alot less/more. also check out www.extremeCCTV.com, much more expensive but guaranteed Infrared Video - what they say -is what you get. If you have any questions let me know I have been using them for some time now. They also have branch in England which I think is cheaper then US prices. Cooperman 0 Posted January 17, 2005 jonk, The only 'peak response' camera at 1150nM that I can immediately think of, is the Hitachi KP-200-EIR. As far as I know it's still in production, but I don't know the price off hand. Have a look at:- http://www.hitachi-denshi-uk.com/frame_sets/main_frameset.html you should find it listed under monochrome cameras. Both Sanyo and Ikegami have (in the past) produced extended IR cameras which work up to 1150, but the response at this higher frequency was from memory rather minimal (maybe 10% or less).
