cctvunderonenation 0 Posted October 2, 2008 Hi Everyone, My name is Joseph. I recently got out the military in July. I serve 5 years and over 2 years of it was in Iraq. I am new to CCTV so please bear with my lack of experience. The reason why I got into CCTV was when I was in Iraq collation forces and US Force would get kill by IEDs. (improvised explosive device) Most of them are on the road. I figure we're America a superpower, why cant we put cameras all over the main roads we travel on to prevent IEDs. I know some cities in America have cameras on traffic lights and highways. Iraq isnt that big compare to America. Long story short I just thought have a secure road would prevent any future lost of life. Anyways I got into CCTV. I wont be posting much because I am leecher I like to read. Actually I wont post much because I am new at this stuff. I have read alot of the stuff and I would say scorpion is funny. Anyways if you have any question feel free to ask. Also for CCTV system which is the best seller camera to use and dvr?

While I was in the army I had sew on specialist rank custom made to look like the Command Sergeant Major of The Army Rank! You should have seen the looks that I got on the bases!! That was worth getting in trouble for "being out of uniform"! Don't mind RickA! While in heaven before he was born they yelled out line for a brain! He thought they said train, and he missed his! Welcome to the forum!!
cctvunderonenation 0 Posted October 5, 2008 Thanks for the welcome you all. I can only image how that rank looks like. Install of a star in a the middle you have a sham rock in the middle. Well there are alot of E-4 in the army. Well I been busy for the past few days. Installing cameras. Trying to learn more. Debating if i should say in the camera business or go to college. scorpion 0 Posted October 5, 2008 GO TO COLLEGE!! You can always get back in to CCTV! Later in life you cannot go back to college. Yes, you technically can go back to college, but it is much funner in your younger years!! Do you really want to be the "old folgie" in the back row?? With a degree you can be anything you want. In a down turn economy a college degree replaces the high school diploma. In other words there are more workers then there are positions. To weed out the least qualified and to attract the best workers you just raise the bar. Where do you want to be in that line?? With a degree you can be a worker at a great company. With a degree you can be promoted in to management faster, and buy the house/car/bigmantoy that you have always wanted. With a degree you can go in to SR management and get a corner office, desk pool of assistants to do your bidding. With a degree you can be a CEO of a major CCTV / Security company! With a degree you can own your own very large CCTV company! Without a degree you need major cash infusion from a business angel or from a bank, or you will have to build up the business from scratch over a long period of time.
