sw 0 Posted December 13, 2008 Looks like the wave of the future, lol. 3D camera's that see behind objects and around walls are in development phase, but they don't see through them. One image can be several gigabytes of data, so storage and transfer rates will have to catch up with the technology before it goes mainstream.

scorpion 0 Posted December 13, 2008 Do you have Google Streets? We were one of the early areas to be on it. It saved my butt big time during the time we were paying up to, and over $4.00 a gallon! I would go to maps.google and when you zoomed in on an address to see the best possible route, and to find the address then you can select street view. It shows the front side of the house. Now I know what house I am looking for. I now know if it is a single story, or a two story house. I now know if there are obstucting trees, bushes, ect to block camera views. I can also pan around 360 degrees to see the neighbors, or the surrounding area to make my judements on equipment selection.
