nellson 0 Posted October 12, 2008 I just lost my MB on my old Geovison system with an 8 port GV1248 card. Put it on a new GigaByte MB and reloaded the 8.1 software over itself. It even found all my settings no problem. However, the main DVR system will either loose all video (all panes say "Video Lost" or the software will just not be running. Takes about a day to have one or the other happen. In either case, simply starting the DVR system again from the Start Up folder restores everything. (IE: The camera's are not really dying). The old system used to cause a hardware reboot. This one is not. I hooked up the inline reset pins as before.. when I press the reset button that is chained after the GV1248 card it resets... What can I check to test the watchdog? Is there an application that will let me fire it manually to see if it's working or something, or is this a known issue?
