G22 0 Posted October 25, 2008 IIRC, there was a link here somewhere that had more up2date firmware than other Aver sites. Anyone still have that link? I can't seem to find it. Also, anyone try the new SATA series EB1304 NET? Any difference other than IDE vs SATA? Tx ETA. I just connected the EB1304 to an ext VGA monitor and the menu system of the DVR was ten times clearer than the Panasonic CRT monitor. SATA is smaller, has "push pin" audio connections, PTZ control just to start with........it also has a fan which is ok but it does "whirr"....... I've had one under test for 2 months and it has been solid. the older 1304 was buggy at first but firmware upgrades have improved all issues I had Operationally............works the same as the older.........same screen, setup, remote.ect.
