maucorti 0 Posted November 11, 2008 Have tested Videoviewer on AVC 785 instead of Video Server E. Ir works fine except.... THERE IS NO WAY TO ACCESS THE SERVER SETTING MENU the related icon simply doesn't allow to be pushed even if I do it (both locally and remotely) as a supervisor user. Any idea on how to solve the problem? Who is the software producer? Are there available other more advanced software' Thanks
scorpion 0 Posted November 11, 2008 I to ran in to this problem. I was logging in to an AVTech AVC 760 (JPEG style). It was set to CIF, and I was having the same problem. I too had the icon "shaded". This will be my next project. If anyone else has any feedback let us know. http://www.cctvforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=14706
scorpion 0 Posted November 21, 2008 (edited) BINGO! I figured it out finally!! I to ran in to this problem. I was logging in to an AVTech AVC 760 (JPEG style). It was set to CIF, and I was having the same problem. I too had the icon "shaded". This will be my next project. If anyone else has any feedback let us know. http://www.cctvforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=14706 Last night I tested an older 760, and it was in CIF mode and it connected fine with the Video Viewer. I could not make changes with the SERVER SETTINGS as it was shaded out and I could not select it. That will be my next issue to resolve. The AVC 760 has to have supervisor rights, or the highest user setting. This goes for EclipseCCTV's new DVR the MaxPro 4. This is the same for AVTech DR 040.
