IP-Pro 0 Posted November 30, 2008 Milestone software is also an option if you can afford it I used NUUO back in the day but haven't touched it in a couple years. I have been meaning too though considering all the positive talk about their software.
Erron S. 0 Posted December 1, 2008 Are you needing any video analytics such as people counting, or directional based recording? Do you want to recompress the video or leave it as raw data? Just trying to get a feel for what you need the recorder to do.
InNorthernWeTrust 0 Posted December 5, 2008 Avermedia has numerous recorders that can do this if your looking for a windows/linux embedded box. www.avermedia.com also try(in no particular order): www.izontechnologies.com www.ipvideocorp.com www.digiop.net - not sure if compatitible with all above. DigiOp also makes smaller recorders as well and because they use dell/hp boxes their warranty also includes onsite service by a technication. www.toshibasecurity.com - not sure if compatitible with all above, though they do have a pretty good list for a big name like this. For pure software solutions(in no particular order): www.verint.com - I believe requires certification www.aimetis.com www.milestone.com www.onssi.com All have their own advantages. All also offer analytics as options. For servers for the software solutions: www.DNFsecurity.com www.pivot3.com and Aimetis can source servers as well and preload with their software.
