bts590 0 Posted November 14, 2008 Hi All, I am getting direct draw create overlay failed, when using resolution 1280x1024 with following hard ware. MB: Intel DP35DPM CPU: CORE2DUO 2.66 1066FSB RAM: 1GB GPU: ATI x1550 256MB If I use resolution 1024x768 it logs in fine. or it will give me that error for couple of times but it does go into the software. First, determine what is the native resolution of your monitor. ex (1280 X 1024) From the manufacturer's website or manuals included with the monitor. Uninstall all the Geo software currently installed. Download the latest version of DirectX from Microsoft and install it. Download the latest version of the drivers for your video card and install it. Reinstall the Geo software using the native resolution of your monitor.
