Webviewer on Avermedia 5000

I have set up webviewer. Ports have been forwarded through router and all works ok. I have one small problem. When I connect from a remote location my speed is showing at around only 31kb/sec and frame rate only between 1 and 3 fps. Both connections are broadband. Is there anything I can do to increase the speed.

Under network setup enable bandwidth limit and set it to like 10mbps and it will also improve LAN usage too.

I tried setting it to 10mbps but its still very slow. Any other idea why this might be.

I know this is late but try a different router. I had a similar issue and it was actually the router that was causing the problem. New router solved it.
