sw 0 Posted December 11, 2008 I always like to keep a spare small monitor for checking individual camera's, just in case there is a problem with the DVR input. But you can just as easily swap the camera feed with a known working input. It's a process of elimination. Try replacing, with a known working 1. Power Supply/cord 2. Data cord 3. Camera It could well be a bad camera. It happens.
Erron S. 0 Posted December 16, 2008 Do you know how much current the cameras are pulling? Have we exceeded 8 amps for all of the cameras? (80% of the power supply)
scorpion 0 Posted December 17, 2008 I second the thought that the camera is not getting enough "energy". Is this the camera that is the farthest away from the power supply?
Torch Security 0 Posted December 29, 2008 camera always power supplied with 12VDC/24VAC. i think the camera donot get enough energy. as some camera have wider range power flexibility, some not. maybe also there is a problem with the power supply board! need check individually.
