altise 0 Posted January 1, 2009 This is my first time to install a CCTV. I am installing four cameras in the house we are building. I have plug and play wires and was able to ask the electrician to install the wires from the ceiling to the wall. I now have a hole in the wall with 4 plug and play wires hanging out. What can I use to cover the hole. Thanks!
Lolo Wolf 0 Posted January 1, 2009 Cut in a box and install a face plate dependent on the wire(back-feed to connectors) there are several wall plates on the market for your application. DataPro, leviton etc...makes for a neat clean install. Its a good idea to run LV within walls to a box terminated and access.
Sawbones 0 Posted January 1, 2009 The Leviton plates with the snap-in connectors work well... or you can just get a generic blank faceplate and drill a hole in the center.
scorpion 0 Posted January 1, 2009 Here is what I use. I get these out of the Electrical Section at Home Depot. Scroll down to the pictures. http://scorpiontheater.com/wiringdrywall.aspx
