kabust 0 Posted January 6, 2009 Hi, I was wondering if someone can help me with this situation. I have four shops and i have already installed security cameras in each shop, i was wondering what's the best way to connect all four shops using the internet in order to access the DVR's located in each site in order to watch, playback from anywhere i am using the internet. Please note that i'm using a web bassed DVR therefore i do not need a special software to access them using the internet. Thank you in advance
VST_Man 1 Posted January 6, 2009 what type DVR? check to see if they have client software that allows for connecting to multiple DVR's at the same time. If you get the above worked out I'd use dyndns.org to update your IP addresses to a named site rather a IP address. Keeps things easy. ie. I have multiple DVR's (different types) all over the country. I assign a simple URL name associated with my client that my dyndns account updates the IP address of the Router/DVR. Then I use client software to program my clients access to all via 1 software program.....client DVR software.
