Working on port forwarding with a GE DVMRe Pro

Pretty much I want to port foward it to work with a router. and i've looked at the "tech specs" and for ports it just calls the ethernet port (10/100 ethernet port) How would I find the number for port forwarding?

You should be able to find the IP address for that dvr in the setup menu or in the owners manual.

 

Something like 192.168.1.220 or you can make your own. But you need to have it up and running.

 

Your going to need the

IP Address number,

Subnet Mask number,

Gateway number and

Port number to put into your router.

The default port number for Wavereader is 1024, for http is 80
