itskuttamit 0 Posted January 16, 2009 i have got a problem while installing a 160 GB HDD in avc760za DVR.when i connected the HDD and switched on the dvr it is just rebooting on its own giving a beeping sound.But when i am connecting the DVR with out the HDD it si not giving any problem and entering in its system menu automatically.I have tested the HDD connecting it to a PC and that was properly detected in Pc.please help me in this regard.please let me know where is the problem. cachecreekcctv 0 Posted January 20, 2009 If you had the HD in a PC, then it was most likely formatted to PC architecture. As far as I know, it won't work then. DVR system is checking Hard Drive on bootup. Just order another Hard Drive to be sure, and this time only put it in DVR. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
