shaunrbennett 0 Posted January 16, 2009 I'm looking for help with some older CCTV equipment. I compiled a bunch of replacement parts from ebay, they all came in new and never used. WV7150D - Outdoor Camera Housing WVCU254 - Controller WVRC150 - Reciever WV7260D - Pan/Tilt WVCA50 - Pre wired cable for housing to pan tilt. WVCL930 - Camera (new from panasonic distributor) The picture comes in fine, but the controller doesn't seem to play well with the pan/tilt head...the pan/tilt head moves in all directions but not necessarily with the correct control for that movement...the zoom in/zoom out actually zooms the camera and moves the head left or right, the joystick control can move the camera up and down, but left and right doesn't work properly... does anyone have any experience with a problem like this? survtech 0 Posted January 16, 2009 It sounds like the wires are crossed between the receiver and the pan/tilt head. Perhaps the pre-wired cable has been messed with.
shaunrbennett 0 Posted January 18, 2009 the old controller/reciever/pan tilt did similar things
hardwired 0 Posted February 3, 2009 Up-the-Coax control systems tend to get skittish when not properly terminated. Check and make sure 75 ohm termination is on at monitoring end. Also, how long is the coax cable run between the controller and receiver? Try it with a short, known good cable, if you can.
