Arthurj 0 Posted January 16, 2009 I'm looking for a power supply for a Dedicated Micros Ds2.
Sawbones 0 Posted January 19, 2009 I'd be surprised if it's not simply some form of basic computer PSU, just in an odd form factor (non-ATX). Check out some of the micro-ATX PSUs and see if they might fill the bill.
cachecreekcctv 0 Posted January 20, 2009 Possibly check out "Mini-ITX.com" for smaller PSU.
Arthurj 0 Posted January 20, 2009 Have it running off a PC power supply at the moment. +12v. -12v. +5v. Works just fine. Just wanted to tidy it up a bit. Thanks.
CoolDude 0 Posted January 24, 2009 I'm looking for a power supply for a Dedicated Micros Ds2. Is it the external unit?
Sawbones 0 Posted January 24, 2009 The DS2 is their embedded stand-alone DVR, and has an internal PSU.
Arthurj 0 Posted January 24, 2009 I think there's an old and a new type DS2. The old type, which i have, has an external power supply.
Sawbones 0 Posted January 24, 2009 Haven't ever seen the external PSU version... Mine must be after that series.
CCTVBeginner007 0 Posted October 5, 2011 Hello, I've tried to find the external power supply for an older model DS2 system with 9 Cameras. It does not seem as anybody is selling a new one. Has anyone had luck? I need the USA version. Would somebody who is tech savy and generous to contribute their time and explain to me of how to build a homemade type of this power supply. Can I use a CPU / Computer power supply and attach the head with the pins? Would anyone recommend the parts needed please? Any pictures would be great. I am sure that there are many people who would benefit from a detailed answer. I saw that the last post about this subject had more than 800 viewers but just one technical response that was not enough for me to understand. Any help is appreciated.
